Scientology has been a contentious subject lately. There are those who would rather not discuss it, those who enjoy debating it, and those who make arguments for or against it. Whether one likes it or not, Scientology may never go away as long as humans inhabit this globe.

Once again, I have a talk about Scientology today. I will not argue for or against it; instead, I will attempt to identify exactly what it is. It is imperative that you take this action. It's crucial because a lot of false information about Scientology, misrepresenting both its principles and other aspects of its operations, can be found online.

So, I sat down with Scientology expert Dr. Eric Berg to do it in a polite and authoritative manner. You can refer to him as an expert Scientologist, a devotee of Scientology, or anything else. However, he started out as a chiropractor before becoming a health specialist, and his dietary recommendations have helped thousands of people worldwide.

Check out his YouTube channel for some guidance.

Let's summarize the main ideas from my interview with him in the interim.

I asked Dr. Eric Berg, "Basically, What is Scientology?"

In response, Dr. Eric Berg stated, "L. Ron Hubbard founded the scientific belief system known as science, which is based on the core idea that humans are all immortal spiritual beings known as Thetans. that we are naturally capable of becoming gods. that a Thetan is the most powerful being in the cosmos. Additionally, that Thetans have abandoned their innate ability to be like gods due to a variety of choices. fallen to a point where the majority of Thetans are unaware of their identity as Thetans, their past lives, or their abilities. Now, the Tantans find themselves imprisoned in their bodies, imprisoned on Earth, imprisoned in the physical universe, imprisoned on this prison planet. Additionally, a Thetan can only be restored to its native state.”

Every body has a single primary Thetan animating it. You find out later in Scientology that you are truly stuck with tens of thousands or perhaps hundreds of thousands of sick, unconscious, half-dead Thetans who are causing you more troubles. However, there is only one Thetan per body at lower levels, or non-confidential levels.”

"At a basic level, the explanation I've provided is essentially what you will receive. All of us are Thetans: you, me, and everyone else.”

That gives a really good overview of what Scientology is. I doubt that it could have been explained any more simply than it was by the Official Church of Scientology.

Based on Dr. Eric Berg's explanation, I understand Scientology to be the process of letting go of restrictions about an all-powerful, immortal being whose projection and manifestation on this globe are inherently constrained.

That concept is intriguing. This belief that humans are capable of greatness in a variety of ways is found in many different religions. It's a very potent notion that we are almost capable of anything. This concept is explored by numerous religions, ideologies, self-help books, and guidance publications.

It appears that applying the theological philosophy of Scientology implies that humans are restricted and that there is a process involved in overcoming those limits.
